I am 23 and right now I happen to live in Malmö, Sweden. That wont last. Neither will my age. I am what you could call a "multimedia designer" but my passions and skills lie in interaction design and branding. I have been doing this for 7 years with over 75 clients all over the world. I also work with photography and I am a co-founder of Weeza Collective.

Born in Italy, 1982. Currently living in Malmö where he has been attending a master in Interaction Design. Passionate about writing and technology, Pietro started his academic career in the Faculty of Scienze della Comunicazione at University of LaSapienza (Rome) with a B.S. in Communication (with a thesis about uses and interpretations of Apple digital products). After some experiences as web designer and editor, he got interested into the field of Interaction Design. In 2006 he got a Master's Degree at the University of Tor Vergata, Rome (thesis on the role of museums in contemporary society). During the last two years, he has been working with the notion of place and approaching the design of physical environments from an experiential perspective. His hybrid background makes him very sensible to the social and communicative levels of the interaction and to the role people within it. From September 2006, he is a happy blogger (pietrodesiato.com) that writes his thought and ideas on IxD.

Besides interaction design I have an interest in graphic design, webdesign and photography which are great tools for an interaction designer to illustrate ideas and concepts. My view on working as an interaction designer is that you may work in different situations but your main goal is always to create the best user experience.
Daniel Karlsson attended to the bachelor program in interactiondesign at K3, Malmo University, before starting the master program, also at K3. Before that he lived in Spain for a while until he returned to Sweden to study literature in Uppsala and Lund until it was time to begin his studies in interactiondesign.
I am an interaction designer. What this means to me is that I create or shape the user experience. What that experience might be varies from situation to situation. It may mean crafting an efficient workflow for a business application's interface, or it might be to make the shopping experience more fun through the use of mobile phones.
I have a varied background and an education that touches on different things. My main skills beyond interaction design are the skills that allow me to visualize my ideas these are primarily graphic design and photography.
I am a designer focused on the way people experience life. I’m out to create work that is innovative, honest and sustainable.
My current outlet for this is as a visual designer, web developer and consultant. To help me along, I use tools like using ethnography, testing and prototyping, web standards, simplicity, and what my mother tells me is a rapier wit.
In 2006 I co-founded Weeza Collective as an international alliance of designers and friends. It's changing quite quickly, evolving into a kind of multi headed hydra.
